How to boost your server?

If you visited our website, so we may conclude you are looking how to increase number of players at your server. If you are a game server administrator, you should focus on 3 points.

First point is how to attract more players to your server. You must know that most of players are looking for game servers using in-game search. It allows them to sort the server list by ping, choose servers with specific map or use other criteria. So, to attract more players your server must appear in the game server browser. This is what we do. It is no a secret that SETTI is dead due to some dudes and now it is not possible to get players for free.

Second is to make players join your server. Think about the attractive name of the server and game mod used there. Do not try to launch another boring public with standart plugins - potentially there are more servers than players in the world. Your server must be really good to be visited by people after your subscription expires. Also make sure your server is not empty: nobody will join an empty one. Some people have filter in their server browser so they even will not see your server in the list. Better add some bots that will exit when people will join.

Third is to let all players join your server without having any problems with it. Try to join your server from "clean" Counter Strike 1.6 client and look how many files (models, sounds, sprites etc.) are loaded and how long it takes. Make sure that you turned on Fast Download (sv_downloadurl), the web server has fast uplink and no players are kicked before they will join your server. Check the ping to your server from different locations.

The story in brief. Prime-server.info is one of those old classic CS 1.6 boosting services that work for more then 10 years and still alive. Most of competitors discontinued. We worked for Russian-speaking world since 2013 on this domain, mainly our clients were from former USSR countries. In 2016 we started ServerBoost.ml for English-speaking world, that was actually a copy of Prime-Server. Payment for xUSSR was made using Inter-kassa gateway, but for English-speaking world we used PayPal as a primary payment system. The number of services was different: in Russian version it was only Boost (and Plus was going to be started for years) and only CS 1.6, for English version it was both CS 1.6 and Half-Life, but on daily subscription basis.

In fact, both services developed separately and indepenently, at the same time working with the same masterserver. That was until June 20th, 2023 when the domain registrar Freenom.com (scamers) decided to steal our domain ServerBoost.ml (it stopped resolving, support ignored our regular requests). Fortunately, there was ony website, no masterserver. We were forced to migrate to https://en.prime-server.info/

We lost old support e-mail. Many English-speaking clients started to visit russian version on the main domain instead of English on subdomain. OK, Chrome translates everything, but russian version had no Paypal payment... No way to keep it this way.

Grand Grand Re-Opening!

By 22.07.2024 г. we totally rebuild our service. Now both websites are at the same domain. We made code refactoring, removed many legacy code. Now it's easy to switch between russian and english versions an we will add few more languages in nearest future. The server database is now the same, all ea servers were deleted. Banlist is the same. Tech support is now at one single e-mail for all clients. Feedback form is simplified.

As for finances. We switched to prices in EURO (EUR). It's simplier for many our clients from EU then calculating how much will it be in USD. Now all clients could pay using 4 payment options - Paypal, Payeer, Freekassa, Inter-kassa. Prices are now the same for each, an prices are lower! The bill is formed in different currencies. PayPal and Payeer are billed in EUR, Freekassa in RUB, Inter-kassa in UAH. Conversion is made automatically using official rates updated daily. Please take into account both Freekassa and Inter-kassa support many cryptocurrencies and payment systems that are not listed here.

Pricelist

The Boost (FIFO / First-in first-out) for both CS 1.6 or Half-Life server costs 0.2 € and it's duration depends on the number of other orders. It could be hours or weeks.

The Plus (former daily subscription) is a placing your server to masterserver list on a daily basis. For CS 1.6 it costs 1.0 € (it was 1.5 USD earlier) but for Half-Life it's only 0.10 €. The more you buy the cheaper it be (please check the duration list selection at your server's page).

Our news

Address was changed
Due to unknown reason, our domain serverboost.ml along with all other .ml domains fail to resolve (does not work) since July 20th, 2023. The domain registrar Freenom.com does not reply for a week. Thus we are forced to change the web address (URI) of our service. The new address is https://en.prime-server.info/
It does not affect boosted servers since in-game search (masterserver) never used that domain. We posted this information in our Twitter and soon all our clients will receive a mail about these changes.

Rules of our service.

These rules are created to protect our players from slowhacking, to protect our service from chargeback fraud and other types of cyber criminal activities, to make our service better for the benefit of our customers.

By using our services you agree with following:

• We add your server to the masterserver list (ms.serverboost.ml:27010) for the duration of time you choose when you order a subscription.
• The server is listed in our masterserver 24/7.
• Creating or changing files using motd_write command is forbidden (autoexec.cfg, joystick.cfg, language.cfg, userconfig.cfg, valve.rc or any other standart game file).
• Redirect player to another server (even if your server is full) is forbidden.
• Using message SVC_DIRECTOR for sending any string commands is forbidden.
• Malicious binary files upload (DLL, ASI and other extensions including hiding them into .MDL etc) is forbidden.
• Any .bat / .cmd / .exe / other executables download via MOTD screen are forbidden.
• Advertising of any other game server client ("newer", "better" versions etc.) is forbidden.
• Changing the player's nickname using client command "name" is forbidden (you may do it server-side using another AmxModX possibilities!)
• Using plugins like GameDestroyer or similar is forbidden. We may not ban your server in case it happens only once.
• Fake servers that have constantly more bots then 25% of maxplayers value are forbidden.
• You should use only debit / credit cards and payment system accounts (including but not limited to PayPal accounts) that belongs to you personally. In case if we suspect you in usage means of payment that belongs to the third person we have a right to suspend your order until further confirmation.
• The digital goods we offer deems delivered since the order information appears on your server's page in the "Latest orders" block. You can check the presence of your server in our masterserver list (ms.serverboost.ml:27010) using any suitable software.
• We may communicate with you by e-mail to notify you about the status of subscription, solve technical problems, require additional information and to tell you about our products and services. We may send you periodic announcements including the details of our existing and new services. You may opt out of these announcements by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of these emails.
• Any support requests should be made via contact with our technical support, the link "Contact us" at the top of the page. You can use either contact form or write us e-mail directly.
• Any payments shall, once they are paid, not be refundable nor creditable for any reason whatsoever.
• A full or partial refund can be made at the request of the client only at the discretion of the ServerBoost.ml in limited number of cases (e.g. when the server was banned by our automatic system by a mistake after few hours/days of boost, we may prolongate your subscription or issue a refund for a remaining time proportionally).
• We have zero tolerance to chargeback fraud and other cyber crime activities. In case of any attempted refund after the end of the subscription we reserve the right to notify other popular boosting services and file a police complaint about cyber crime.
• In case of any claim / dispute placed by the client via the payment system we reserve the right to ban all client's servers, blacklist an IP and E-mail addresses and prevent this client from using our services in future to protect our service from fraud.

We have zero tolerance to any server that redirects players, changes the default keyboard bindings including but not limited to bind of spam or connect commands, changes the default Game Menu options (New Game, Find Servers etc.). If your server will send any bad command to client, it will be permanently banned from our service. No refunds are issued! Better switch off all "bad" plugins long before ordering a subscription. Review our banlist and make sure your server does not send anything like that.

Our players have enough protected game clients, so nothing will work, nevertheless, disobeying service rules leads to instant IP ban with removal of all servers you have added and without any refund!
